Jake Pratt

I’ve been involved in aviation as long as I can remember. Born into a flying family and continuing the tradition; my goal is to expand the joy of general aviation to anyone who will listen, and continue to make it accessible to everyone! Whether it’s backcountry mountain strips, instrument approaches into international airports, or just flying laps in the local traffic pattern, I’m always down to commit some aviation! I also love turning wrenches as a certified A&P mechanic. I look forward to a career in the big leagues some day, but will always stick to my roots in GA, and strive to make safe, smart, efficient, and intelligent aviators!

The beginning of my career in aviation started in college where I studied aviation management at Middle Tennessee State University. Upon graduating from this 4 year institute I received a job opportunity at Nashville International Airport in the management department. While working there I realized that office life was not my forte, so I decided to go back to school to pursue my love for flying. I attended ATP flight school where I received my MEI/CFII rating and soon after began instructing at Madison Air Training Center. I am now on the journey to 1,500 hours so I can follow my dream of flying in the commercial airline industry.
